i wasnt reali shocked after hearing bout the recent bali blast.

frankly, i didnt feel anything at all.

i was numbed.

and i tink everyone else was.. n will be.. for a long time to come.

i mean, ask urself..

were U shocked?

c'mon... honestly.. dig down inside..

i tink most of us will say no.

and the ppl who said yes... probably have been going around with their daily business with shut down senses.

my point is, there have been so many tragedies lately that no one cares anymore.

no one fears death anymore.

i generally dont fear death anymore.. well, as much..

i mean, wat's there to fear?

lately, it seems that u can die from anything..

sars, plane crashes, planes crashing into u, dengue, tsunami, earthquake, guns, hurricanes, bombs, mortars, bird flu, mad cow disease, volcano erruptions, pig flu.. need i say more?

we came into the new millenium with so much hope.. so much ambition...

it all seems like a divine prank. or is i, afterall, a divine intervention?

*shrugs* i guess its like asking whether the glass is half empty or half-full.. uh huh.. we know tt drill.. so cliche.

and then there's life..

u work hard, stress urself out, rush here rush there like headless chickens..

and for wat?

for all u know, all the material things u worked hard for today, may not matter tmr.

and when u're gone, wat can ppl say abt u?

tt u were successful with a big house a big car? a straight A student who scored 1600 in SATS? a sexy girl who was always in sync with the fashion scene?

is tt wat u reali want ppl to know u as?

*shrugs* i dunno abt u.. but i surely dun wan to be recognised for such superficial so-called accolades..
