k k. i tink i need to clear things up here. coz lots of ppl are confused. coz apparently, im confusing.. well, i learnt from the best! mr confuscious himself.

ANYHOO, wat is dance nite?

dance nite is an annual event held by njc. it used to be a western dance group thing (back when they were better than the other dance groups), but for the past few years they have been inviting other dance groups to perform one or two items for them.

BUT, this year, it is NO MORE a western dance thing. this time, its more of a collaborative effort. so this time around, the western n chinese dance groups get 5 items (coz they are big dance troupes with 60 odd ppl), and the malay and indian dance group gets 3 dance slots each!

so yep, more representation! can showcase malay dance more! YEY!

also, there's this combined opening performance where they take bits and pieces from various dances and use ppl from various dance groups, and they have indian dance dancing with malay dance, chinese dance and dunno wat, crossover here cross over there... DAMN COOL!

so this dance nite thing will be happening on 21 April, which is this friday at the UCC. I will be involved in the zapin items together with some ppl from the njc malay dance alumni as well as the junior ladies (year 1s). n the best thing is, im having my biz law paper in the afternoon!! muahaha. The event will be at 8pm and i tink there's only a very few number of $12 tix left. the front seats have all been taken up. so yeap, its a definite recommendation from me coz the standard is reali high. check out the chinese and malay dance grp especialli. Worth the special mention.

As for the Muslimah nite, i dun hav much info abt it yet.. but i understand tt its a collaborative effort between NUSms and some polys? rite? if im not mistaken, it'll be on May 21st.. i tink lar.
Anw, for this one, i tink ive been called to play a character in the skit thing they're gonna put up. something like dat la. i oso dunno got roped in by sarah (oooh, i heard she's the foc camp commandant).

and i'll be joining ilsa for their next performance. think its in september.. dunno wat its called..

so yeap.. LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
