got botak?

heh. I'M BAAAACCKK..

i've never been a big fan of botak guys.. or girls for that matter. but ever since george eads and merissa etheridge, i've changed my mind. besides, i got enough hair to go around. so.. here's a question- got botak?

i just got my pay. and pay=shopping. therefore, i just went shopping on saturday. im a bad baad girl.. badder than michael jackson (feeble and lame joke.. i know). so i spent like 95 bucks on tops and a pair of pants. and i didnt get a single black thing. yeah. im so proud of myself. oh. wait a minute. i did. i got a pair of black pumps.. u know, those ballet like round tip shoes. actually, i wanted to buy those colourful faux tweed shoes.. but they didnt carry my size. the black pumps i got had to be expanded, although it was a size 40. and its still a tad tight. im hoping to get something to add to the shoe.. like a nice dainty torqoise ribbon or sthg.

*sighs*. i really really really HATE those shoe shops at jp. cannot make it sia.. i mean, they dont even carry a size 9. what more a size 10. the only place where i can find shoes easily is holland v. but of course the shoes there are not very updated.. and a tad pricier than normal shops...ya?

the shoe shop i love most is vnc at the link mall. although sometimes they dont carry my size either. i abhor shoe shops which dont even make the effort to carry size 10. and those with bitchy or rude sales assistants. they're so smackable.

im actually amazed by the pope's death, or rather, ppls anticipation towards it. dont u think thats just a tad too mean? think abt it, put yourself in his shoes.. u are sick, very sick, and u know u're sick. u know some ppl are praying for u, yet, eyes seem to be upon u, waiting and wondering when u gonna go. and ready to pounce on it. the media. sick, sadistic ppl whose sole aim is to satisfy their sick, sadistic consumers (read: that's u).

think abt it.. so we needed to know abt the iraq war, but was it really necessary to splash gory, bloody pictures all over the place? so we needed to know what happened to the sears towers, but was it really necessary for the front page of the new paper to show a man falling towards earth? head first?

oops. my dad just disrupted my train of thought.

anw, my question is, are we really being exposed to the bare facts, the ones necessary to make us a better kind? or are we just suckers for sensation? (think- our obsession with hollywood)

im not trying to say tt im a righteous, goody2 fella.. in fact, i relish channel 81( E! entertainment channel). and i love oprah. but even i know there are lines we, as humanity, shouldnt cross.

im not going to apologise for watever i said.. but i am sorry if i was irreverent or insensitive.





ps: i think im in "love" (just because i cant find another word) with taye diggs and jon bon jovi.. and just about every other character on ally mcbeal. except for richard fish. i wish i were her. only WITH boobs.
